I previously posted a want ad of 91- 92 Comanche, but I have became aware that I might need to expand a little on my choices. I am looking for a 88- 92 Jeep Comanche. It MUST be a 4x4 shortbed automatic ( so the wife can drive it and it must be running. I do not want anything that is rotted out nor do I want anything that has alot of rust. I am realistic that these trucks are 16 -20 years old and a little rust is ok, but I do not want to spend some ridiculous price for one either. So please keep me in mind. What area are you looking in? Your email has Carolina RR in it... but I don't know if that is national, or just Carolina based.

I would prefer aclose to NC as POssiable, but I am open to travel alittle. I prefer to stay with in the eastern time zone and not too far up north like Maine.

Thanks alot and that really is a nice Comanche. It is just a little too far away at this time. Also I need an auto matic just in case my wife needs to drive. Still looking 1988-92 Comanche 4wd auto ans not all rusted out.

Have you tried the usual spots like Autotrader and Craigslist yet?
So it's not a Jeep... sue me... it's still faster!

yes I constantly search there all either don't have what I am looking for for they have too much rust. I am sure the right Comanche is there I just have to find it. If you know of any or find any please email me at rdrye6@carolina.rr.com. Any and all help is appreciated . Thaks Shane

On June 25, 2006. I finally bought the Comanche that I wanted about 45 minutes from where I live. It is a 1989 automatic with 4WD 150K miles on it. The only rust was on the bumpers which I was going to switch any way. The paint is faded on the hood and top, but I know how to paint so it want be a problem and the right side of the bed has a quarter size dent. All an all it was a good deal. I'll post some pics later and then some before and after photos. Thanks to all who helped me and gave advice in my search. R.Shane
