Let's see the winch review you mentioned about doing in one of the Your Jeep responses. I think a lot more people would like to see this done, I know I would.  

It would also be nice if it included real facts and data about construction differances. Not just opinions based on who made them. Meaning USA vs. anywhere else in the world.

Things like bearing/bushing designs, gear mechanism design, hardening of gears (or lack there of), solinode packs, controllers, etc.

Relate all that to durability, longevity and price.

Who really builds the winch vs. who engineered the winch? The imports are all the same, just re-badged. Myth or truth?

And finally, they all publish line speed and pull data. Is it accurate?
