anybody who bought mirror relocators and discovered that you can't see your mirrors, i got a fix for ya. i used 5/8" aluminum plate, cut to 7" x 1 1/2" and drilled a couple of 7/8" holes (those could of been bigger, but i'm cheap and didn't wanna buy anouther drill *** i used a piece of heavy duty plastic pipe (the grey stuff) to cover the mounting pins on the mirrors, shot some black paint on it (even touched up my mirror arms while i was at it). they work pretty good, just a slight bounce at 65mph. here's some pix...

LOL......yeah, my son wanted to help, but being it's the end of school, the shop teacher was a little flakey about the tools being used. i ended up cutting the pieces by hand (7" is a pretty long way to go when cutting this way) the one on the rights better now, i moved the arm back towards the door. i took the pix right after mounting them and a quick adjustment.
