I have a 2004 Wrangler 4x4 with stock 215/75-15 tires.
I found 31"/9.50" (with 8" rims) that I want.
My question.. is a lift kit necessary to up-size to these dimensions w/out causing problems, rubbing, etc -
or should they fit  w/out a kit?

(Btw.. I never take my Jeep off-road - if that makes a difference?)

Yep, 31x9.50 will fit '97-'06 Wranglers without a lift kit.
