I'm trying to remove the body mounts on a 80cj. I have three left that do nothing but spin. D0 I need to cut out the floor above them to get them out??
96 grand,3.5 Tuff Country,3/4 spacers,rusty's trackbar and mount,dual stabilizers,JCR rock sliders, Dynomax catback etc etc.

heys there's an article in the JP mag that pete (I think wrote) on the exact subject, well it was a YJ ?? ya might find it in the tech? articles on the website.
I've always cut em open and weld them to the pan if they look like they'll come loose.

Ya I saw that one before,I'm going to cut them out above I guess! Good thing I have a welder......

I have all body mount out now,will be lifting the body off real soon!!!
