About 3 months ago i bought a 1988 jeep wagoner with 100k and a 360 v8. It has ran great until about 2 weeks ago it started giving me problems. Whenever I start it the engine sounds like its not getting enough gas and is about to die. It wasn't bad at first but is getting worse any suggestions?

I have a 88 grand wagoner to with 125,000 miles and mine runs great. The first thing that i would do is change the fuel filter, then i would go and buy a carb kit and clean out the carb out then. If you have any more questions just let me know.

Might just be a vacuum leak. Carb kits will usually make the carb better than it was was, but almost never like a new one. And, do you really want a new one.
Put on an Edelbrock performer intake and Edelbrock/Carter AFB. The AFB is simple and works well offroad. You'll love the combo, easy starting, smooth running and nice performance. One of the most popular combos done for the AMC V8s.
