Ok now a little frustration is setting in. I am trying to find a upper radiator hose and no one in town, that I've spoke with, seems to know which one I need to go from CJ7 to sb 350. Had one guy check all of his hoses to see if one matched. NO ***

There are dozens of combinations.
Depending on the drive accessories, GM used many different thermostat housings, which directed the hose off in many different directions. GM also used many accessory brackets depending on the vehicle. Add in the different radiators, either left or right input, and the accessories to route the hose around, and there you go. Too many combinations for someone to know.
The best advice is to find a thermostat housing that points in a direction that gets the hose away from the accessories, find two hoses that you can cut a section out of, one for the thermostat and one for the radiator and then join them with a piece of muffler pipe. You can also have the mufler shop bend some pipe for the middle and then find some hoses to finish up the ends.
When looking at hoses, look at the middles as well as the ends.

Bend a piece of wire or use pvc pipe and bends to build what you need. Then take the template to a shop that will let you match it up. My local NAPA lets me go nuts with the hoses until I find what I need.

Thats what I need somebody to let ME look. I know they don't care to put in a lot of time for some guy off the streets. The hose thta's on now is so simple it should be on every car. Nothing in the way from radiator to engine. Straight pipe with one 90 into the housing. Guess I'll keep serching once I fabbed a hose, never broke or anything bad, but evertime I looked at it, it was a lokk of distrust. Not sure I want to go through that again on this one. Maybe one day I'll stop swapping motors. Let see, four cars four swaps? maybe I should. NAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!
