if you are having some problems searching for those hard-to-get parts, here is a phone number of a place down in CA, it's 1-800-924-9732.

they have a website jwjeep.com. just go to yahoo or some search engine and type it.  hope that shines some light on your project.

I found out about Jeep Stuff on this forum site. I am from BC and recently went to Calgary and got some parts from them.  Jeep Stuff is a parts/junk yard that runs their business out of their home with attached garage, so you need to go into a rural area (near Chestemere outside of Calgary, Alberta).  I  feel obligated to educate all of you in this forum about this company -- buyer beware.  Make sure you check your parts over very carefully before you pay for them because they do not stand behind their parts... I got mine home to BC and my mechanic told me the part was no good.  Apparently this was  very obvious but I must admit I know nothing about this stuff so I didn't notice.  As a female I certainly felt "had".  It got worse though because I phoned them and told them about the bad part and asked them to send a good one -- they said they'd do it right away.  Four days later they put it on the bus and when it arrived it was COD.  Lesson learned:  cross your fingers that the part they sell you is in good shape because if it isn't they'll send you another but you'll pay shipping every time...and of course eventually it costs just as much to have ordered it brand new -- I found this out the hard way.  Are there better Jeep junk dealers out there?

is this a u-pull-it type of place also?

some things just can't be checked out without pulling it all apart, thats a risk we take when buying used parts. many things may only be rebuildable while the one you have is toasted...

what was it you bought from them?
