ok i need some help, i have a 95 jeep yj with a 2.5 liter i am putting a tera-low 4to1 trans case in it and i have dana 44's with a spool in the rear and ox locker in the front, gears are going to be 5.38's and it sits on 36x12.50x15 super swampers. now for the problem i really wanted to go back to a soa like it was before i had no ladder bars,no sway bars, and no track bar and i never had a problem, but that was with stock 4.11's,stock transfer case and no lockers, alot of what i hear is split down the middle some of the jeepers say spring-under and some say spring-over for more flex know i kinda know what i like but i really want performance i am not against cutting the body, kuz i want a low center of gravity, but any help would be great so sorry to bug but need to figure out before i start welding stuff to the newly cleaned axles thanks again.................P III

Go with SOA. If you have axle wrap, it can be fixed with a torque arm. Torque arms really work to control axle wrap, but they don't always articulate well (they break off). But, that is due to design. Mud has one and he knows who has the best design... And maybe AEV will be able to help out... maybe

Here's a link for you...
http://www.fourwheeler.com/techarticles/drivetrain/129_0701_jeep_tj_buggy_stinger/index.html
This may never be available again and is probably overkill for you... but the TJ D44 one (Mud's) should be available again and you might be able to modify it to work with your Amigo/Passport housing. Or at least here's some design ideas to go it alone...

Is there a rod end where the arm attaches to the shackle? I've seen a lot of designs that don't and they seem to put too much stress on the axle mount, eventially tearing it off.

nope, it's a weld on bracket, they generally don't get torn off unless it's a thin bracket poorly welded. they don't really get stress any more than the shock brackets do from a speed bump.

I'm talking about the front of the arm. So that the arm will rotate with axle articulation?
