I wish I had flares still

 

Well, we looked at them today.  It looks like I am going to have to do a 17" rim.  Was hoping to get away with a 16, but that is not going to happen.
With those flares, it I play my cards right, they won't be there by the end of the evening Friday.  We are going wheelin' for someones wedding.  

I just took the above wheels and tires of with 90% tread,35" on 17" wheels 5-4.5 lug pattern,just laying around the yard.  

Want to sell?

I still can't figure out what rotors and calipers you have that could possibly require at least 16.5 wheels....


do ya have a pic with the tire off? I'm gonna blow a gasket! it don't make any sense to me... I can see from the pic it has small hubs,

even 1ton ford/chev/dodge dually front rotors and calipers will take 16" wheels, thats what came on em stock.

If that is your lug pattern I am in cali and will sell for $500 for all 5.  

The braking system is Ton and done by a company called Najavo Brakes (it still has the sticker)  I was talking to my mechanic (yes, I don't know enough to do it myself YET!) and he said that I could keep my 16.5 rims but I want a different set.  He is looking around for me.  
No, I don't have any pics w/the wheel off.  Once we take the wheel off I will get one.  I am wheelin' this afternoon so I will get some pics today and post them Sat. afternoon or Sunday.  
I am going to pull an allnighter Friday night, I have to be at work at 4 am Sat. morning. My guess it that I will come home and crash Sat. afternoon.  I will let you know.  I am toooooo old to be pulling all nighters!

Well, I still have not slept since 1:45am 6/6 EST.  We went wheeling but by time time we got there the sun was setting and we could not get any decent pics.  But I did try.
I never had to take off my wheels, but these are the best pics that we get at the time.

Well, today I received a set of 35" Yokohama Geolander M/T tires for F.R.E.E.  whats that spell? FREE! YEAH!!!!
See a buddy bought a 79 cj7 w/360 t400, and qtrac like my set up and it had 35" Yokos on it and he wanted somthin bigger. So he bought a killer set of 17" and didnt want to mess w/the tires so he said go to the tire shop and theyll set me up so now Im off to collect my set of new Yokos that are on my old wheels now...  

Well, it looks like i am going to get new tires and rims in the next couple of days.  I will let you know what I decide to do.
