k&n or banks

i have had a k&n cold air intake and loved it. now i am doing one for my 05 rubi and cant decide on k&n or banks. i like how banks is more enclosed but i can get the k&n for $178 and the banks is gonna cost $241. anybody got any thoughts on the situation??????

With the way things are at the moment   (gas,economy) and how you like K&N and its about $65 cheaper, then Id stick w/the K?N and use the rest for gas money,cause in reality they are both gonna give you what you want and one your paying for the name.
Ive run both K&N and Air raid and both were diff $ but I couldnt FEEL the diff between the two so Id stick w/ the cheapest at this time.

im looking for quality and durability. im really not looking for the best hp gains im more looking for best milage and what will filter the best. im thinking of doing the unichip also and have it mapped to the right specs of a cai.

lol...I have a banks enclosed air box that uses a K&N filter, thats how it came directly from banks

nope, it not on the jeep either, banks used the K&N filters though....

thats a mid 90's chevy small block aint it, mud what do you think i should go with, the k&n or the banks

I'm partial to the K&N myself, others will argure it's a POS...

that just what I've always used the past 20 some years. the filter in the pic there is going on 15 years old..

the engine is a 6.5ltr in a 86 chevy pu.

I put a banks on mine s few months ago. I am pleased with it. If the K&N has worked in the past, stick with it. My 2 cents.
