what do you guys think of this lift kit?

what are the pros and cons of the lift?

I just bought some BFG MT's 33x12.50x15's

Can I run those tires on that lift?

What will my ride be like - I have a 04 Wrangler X w/ the 4.0 w/ 47,000 miles on it.  Stick shift 5 speed.

Is there anything I need to do before I put the lift on?

Should I upgrade the shocks?

BTW, the Jeep is generally my daily driver.  I go about 8 miles one way to work.  I do some light off road trails, no crazy rock stuff..

I appreciate the help guys!

Doubling up sping spacers is pretty weird. Generally maximum 2" of lift on a TJ without addressing some other components is a good rule of thumb. You would probably be disapointed and have some drivability issues. Going over 2" and not addressing the trac bars both front and rear will cause the jeep to not track straight. The rear axle will track to the right and the front will track to the left. And definitely would have drive line vibrations. Even 2" should at least have a transfer case lowering provision. And 3" should probably have an SYE. A lot of jeeps have some drive vibs with no lift.

it will work but theres a few parts missing that are needed for a lift over 2"...even a 2" spacer lift will work for a pavement pounder with 33's.

I'd look for a complete kit...if your looking for cheap the rough contry kit has the neccesities for a little over 500 bucks, you can find them on e bay and classifieds everywhere....if you've got a grand to spend theres much better options..

anything I need to know about the RC Kit?  Is it hard to install?  I'm no mechanic, but I've done tuneups, oil changes, and electrical work on my vehicles..

What kind of tools do I need?

It's very simple, an experienced installer can install  the parts in 2-3 hours, not including the alignment.

follow instructions take your time....read them fully before you start.

the only special tool you'll need is a torx for a few bolts, a metric allen will work if they aren't stuck. and a couple drill bits to drill out the sway bar ends and the rear sway bar bracket frame holes.

then be sure to get an alignment including the caster set as recommended.

a sye is recommended over 2" lift, with the t-case lowering and rear pinion adjusted it can be made acceptable without the sye, still may have a slight vib though.
