Hi:
My name is Randy. I am a JP subscriber and former owner of Wranglers, but new to the forum. Yesterday I ran into an article on the internet about cam timing on a 2004 Jeep Wrangler 4 banger which inreased the mpg by 70%. I was going to attache the full article but as I can tell this forum is not set up to allow that. The web site is http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/WorkingWatercar.
I joined this group three daysago and I was just reading chapter10.pdf under the "Files" when I saw the article (on page 10-143). By the way some of the members do run their car partially or completely on hydrogen-oxygen gas. Please give me a feedback as to this cam timing realy works or it is just some fantasy. I still would like to forward the article if someone tells me how. Thank you, Randy.

I'd have to say theres more to it than just the cam timming. + or - 4 degrees is about all you can do. it affects the power/torque range more so than mileage.

I'm always interested in info on such things. you can post a direct link to the article...
