Ok! It's in. The Carrier Bearings cam in and the local 4 wheel place popped the old ones off and slid the new ones in place. (no charge, thanks guys!!!)
Took the dif inards home and now it's in, the backlash looks and feels great. Once the outer axle bearings and seals come in, I'll slide the axles in and surround them with the new brake drums (shoes already in place waiting to be finalized)
Cutting it close for next weeks outing, but I plan to have the break-in period complete by Monday.
Thanks for the help guys!

OK All!!! Here it is. Thank you all for the info and help.
It is done? Yes, it is complete to the satisfaction of of being back on the road and rolling yet again.
It is complete? The task at hand of replacing the shot carrier bearings is complete. Added to that was the replacement of the outer axle bearings and seals (why not, I was there and the origianls had 235,000-PLUS miles logged) and that is complete.
Was the overall task at hand completed? Uummm! No! Unfortuanately not. Am I still planning on going up to BBFF this weekend? Yes, leaving tomorrow. Unfortuanately, the noise is still there. Due to the noise being heard somewhat underneath me and origainlly sounded like the beginnings of a U-joint going out: I found a loose wheel-joint up left. One left front wheel-joint replaced, with noise still going! Then I narrowed to the rear explained earlier in this thread, which then alotted me to find the left carrier bearings shot! One set of carrier bearings replaced (along with both rear outer axle bearings and seals) with noise still going! I then, last night figured the origin to be coming exactly from where it sounds like it's coming from. Right underneath me! Something to do with the transfer-case/front-driveline, perhaps?! Being right underneath me, it tends to throw out a bit of deception as a single person in the vehicle trying to locate it and jumping out erevy so often to tinker with things form laying under the vehicle. Hence the findings of the items already replaced. Is it money lost? No, it obvisously had to be done soon anyway.
This is continuing to a new thread... "Front Drive Shaft Noise! help?!"
