Does anyone know of a place to get a rebuild kit for the steering box on a '99 TJ? I originally thought it was one of the hoses, but after a can of GUNK and a pressure washer I see it coming out the top of the box right by the input shaft.

Try PSC www.pscmotorsports.com or Howe Performance Power Steering www.howeperformance.com. I suspect you will need to send them your box though. Not really an at-home job.

Thank you,
To follow up on this: I think I might go snoop around in some local salvage yards for one. What years, makes and models should I be looking for to replace the one I have. I know Jeep is famous for using things that will fit in alot of other vehicles.

While you are snooping in theyards, look for a box from a 98 or 99 Dodge Durango with the v8...direct bolt on and is an upgrade! There are write-ups on it all over the net just google it!!
