I have a 79 360 out of a J10, in my 84 Cj7 and was thinkin of swappin the T18 for an auto. I don't know what I should be lookin for or what will bolt in. I also have a Dana 300 Transfercase. So any help would be great.

a 727 torque flite will bolt up and take the 300 with the proper adaptor and output shaft. some came that way stock.
I'm not a torqueflite fan, they are a strong dependable and cheap to get and fix, tranny though

doesnt the t400 from same year work too...like i have in my cherokee? (360,t400,qtrac) or is the qtrac diff from the dana 300.(not sure)

yep the chrysler belled th400 also, the quadratrac is a different animal though.

Well thanks for the info. Nice Pic haha. I had the tf727 in a ramcharger that I had and it shifted pretty health for the milage and all that was on it.
