Jeepers peepers nice funbags...got a question for anyone that can help..just bought an 85 cj7 with auto was really against it but was only $2500 so my question is what is the tranny and woulda shoulda keep it or what? thanks

hey bigsurjeep...the trans should be a GM t400,and they are a pretty stout trans that can handle abuse really good, id keep it...
and chariot, im still trying! haha

did i hypnotize ya mud?...or am i wrong about the type of tranny? just wondering cause i got some specs from that year cj off the net and it said that cjs had about 4-5 diff manuals and 1 auto of a gm t400 or did they also have the chrysler type?
