Well i hate to be a whiner, especially when i expected the outcome. I just spent 90 mins put Rugged Ridge mirror brkts on then took em right off. They are a decent product,fair quality,nice door filler plate,but the pass side is useless with full hard doors on and the directions and hrdwr do  not agree. i was able to get them on with what they sent just not the way they told me. If i had known the pass side issue i never would have got them.Qtech treated me right but i wish the catalog had told me what to expect.I hate to complain just hope to save somebody else the hassle. Is anyone gonna make brckt that is vissible on rt side with full doors on? Could be a good seller if it got made. Guess I'll try to custom something out of stainless.

I'm aware of the problem w/seeing past the skins on a half door!

chariotofmanliness has em and is making stainless extensions, I haven't heard the outcome yet..


 

Thanks for the reply,your pics look like the mopar perf. mirror . Nice but they only sell drs side for 07 and 08 and it looks funny how it bolts to windshield.I'm willing to wait but not all summer,winter comes quick up here in nh.  

i got these brackets from jc whitney. i'm in the process of making bracket extensions. the stainless got shelved for aluminum. i'm making them 7" long x 1 1/2" wide x1/4" thick. got the holes drilled, just waiting for my son to get them cut out. pix to follow.
