Hi everyone, first time here and first post. I was wondering if I could get some help from everyone. I have a 97 wrangler with a 4 cyl in it. It's completely stock. I want to put bigger wheels and tires on it, but not sure what size will fit. I've talked to my husband and he thinks that I might be able to fit 33's on there, but he isn't too sure. What does everyone think? Will 33's fit or will i have to lift it? Any advice is much appreciated.

2.5-4" lift for the 33's and 4.88 gears...maybe 4.56's depending on driving conditions.
31's are abour as large as you'll want to get without a little lift.

i have 33 inch tires and i have 4 inch lift. my friend has stock jeep with 31 inch tires and they rub very little. if i were you try a 2.5 inch lift, that way you dont have to mess with the transfer case. that should clear 33 inch tires.
just for fun in the sun, rain, sleet,or snow. LOL

I run 34's under 2.5" rancho hd lift... modified bumpstops are a must for wheeling with the sway bar disconnected.
33's can go w/a 2" spacer lift on rubi coils.

TrXus M/T's are best mud terrains I've ever ran on.
trxus also has a all terrain more suited for sand and dirt...
