Hello Everyone! New to Jeeps, got my first one (93 Wrangler) at the begining of this year. I can't believe I have been missing out on all the fun for nearly 40 years. Anyway, I picked up a set of soft half doors for the summer. Now I having mirror issues. I bought a set of after market mirrors that mount to the windsheild frame. Way to much vibration makes the almost useless on the highway. Then I tried those relocation brackets for the stock mirrors. They hold strong but very hard to see. When you put on your uppers its almost impossible. Does anyone know of a solution to my troubles? Glenn....Jacksonville Florida

i have the same problem with mine. i'm in the proccess of making extensions for them. i'm using 1/2" thick stainless about four inches long. that should be enough to get the mirrors out.

Well ya know us Texans with the straight roads and flat lands it's kinda hard ta hit anything. LOL !!!
And yes I leave my mirrors off too!! It makes it more fun to weave in and out of the Dallas traffic, when it's not at a standstill.

from the pics I've seen, It looks like they'd be great with a hard top or full door's and a soft top...the half doors looks to be the snag.

i'm (my son) drilling out 3/8" holes. i'll head to lowes and check on that. the brakets work great with the top skins off.....soon as the skins go back on, the mirror on the passenger side is useless and the driver side is difficult to see at best.
