the other thing that's nice about reciever winch's front and rear is....  you can make light weight removeable license plate brackets... saves on buying new license plates when you tear them up...  

Buckshot, how did you secure the cable under the jeep? Did you pull it through conduit or just clamp it or what? My winch plate pivots and I'll be using a tractor pin (spring loaded) to secure it left, center or right. Got to admit its a heavy sucker.I'm using a smittybuilt also. What about a soleniod (switchable) to reduce the chance of shorts. Turn it off when not in use. Something to think about!
