here's a REAL cheap and easy project that will help protect your soft top from getting holes from the spreader bars. get a peice of 1/2" inside diameter foam pipe insulation (lowes or home depot), cut it to length for the top spreader bars and slip it on. it keeps the bendy section from poking up into the top. i took the small peice that was left and cut it in half, then slipped it onto the rear uprites, about 2" up from the fender boxes. it keeps the top from slapping.

really good tip... i see alot of jeeps that have torn tops in those areas.cheap and easy.
