I have a 1977 CJ-5 Jeep. I just replacing the brake pads, rotors, calapers, drums and a new master cylinder and the brake performance is still poor. I have heard that this year is known to have very poor brakes, any suggestions on how to correct this problem?

just be sure there's no air left in the lines, Big tires can cause poor braking alone.

If you didn't replace or rebuild the slave cylinders than you will never get good break response.
The other thing is that the lines my have all kinds of junk dirt in them therefore being clogged.
Hope this helps!
