Is High Knuckle Steering actually superior to OEM knuckles?

short answer is yes. depending on the jeep and the style of high steer kit. the benifits of a high steer kit helps on road handling greatly [in conjunction with a properly located track bar] and needed for clearance on spring over axle lifts. the offroad benifits with the right type of high steer setup are less chance of bending or breaking your tie rod which keeps your tires pointing in the same direction and not pointing at each other.

most high steer kits require the taperd holes to be redrilled and have inserts welded in,

others that are spendy and more complete like the teraflex, replace the right side knuckle with a new cast one. then ya still gotta put an insert in the left side.

I heard that you can put some Cherokee (or grand, can't remember) knuckles on a TJ and WALA high steer on a D30!!!!!!!!!
