I thought I'd start this post for people that are looking to do a complete chassis swap instead of a piece by piece upgrade. There have been many different donor vehicles used to date. I am familiar with using the Wagoneer. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2451568 Post or link to what you've done or seen done. This could become a good resource thread for others thinking of a chassis swap.

Any info on your chassis swap would be most appreciated. I am doing this swap with a 51 willys wagon on a 75 scout2 frame. It looks like a lot of time and cost can be saved with the scout frame. It's already boxed, already dana 44's mounted. Any advice.

I put a 61 wagon on a 77 wagoneer frame and axles. What made it easy was I uses a chevy motor and sm-420 trans with the spicer 18. This allowed me to move the motor back to fit in the engine bay. Then I just lined up the rear fender wells with the back tires. The front axle is about 3" further forward than stock but it allows me to run bigger tires without rubbing and I didnt have to shorten the frame.
