I have an 82 cj8 wide track and destroyed the amc 2O. I can spend about $1200 but don't really know what axle to put in it. I'd like to go with a dana 44 but don't know wich one from what vehicle to try and get to keep the width on the rear right. I know they put a 44 in the some 86 cj's but they seem to be hard to find. Any help would be great. The jeep has the 4.2 33's and is for playing in eastern north carolina mud.
