I was looking at the Smittybuilt XRC 10. Don't know much about it, but its pretty cheap at $499.99 in 4WD. Think I'm gonna save for the Warn Powerplant 9500. I am running an old Ramsey now and I love it. It might quit tomorrow, but it has been the best so far.

I've gotten very good service out of my MM 9500si and it really gets used hard, as far as pulling power goes it's up to any task a warn can do..as far as durability..still to be determined, they may have lower quality gears.. IDK, heres what it can do to the mount!..

for sure the elecric, for a trail rig the electric is the best way to go, If you stall your engine in a creek your new pto won't work, hydraulics w/electic pump wear down batteries much quicker and are generally weak and heavy in comparison to an electic.
warn has some nice set ups as far as reciever mounts, I see more home made ones than manufactured mounts. so...they're out there. I'll keep an eye out for some and post as I find them. If I have time while I'm home this week I may even build front and rear bumpers and removable winch mounts on my rubi, being to how its all messed up from new years eve.

yep rusty's, warn, go there (the pic), smittybuilt, rock hard.. theres others..
personaly I can do the same job for the cost of materials, so they're way to spendy for me...I do like the looks of some of their products though.
yeah, I was trying to get my truck ready to go and these guys got my number from some other buddy, so I had to go up the road about 10 miles from the house to recover the big ol' dually that had slid over the enbankment in about 18"s of snow, I'm not even sure how they made it up as far as they did. I actually probably wouldn't have helped out but they had a few young kids wth them. this is the look i'm after also...
