Howdy All,
The rear hatch button on my 1996 Cherokee is locked and will not unlock using the key. Any suggestion on how to get this opened so the mechanism can be serviced or replaced? Any and all help would be most appreciated. Thanks - jpl ![]()

will the cylinder turn at all when the key is in it? if it doesnt trn then spray some viperlube or somethin else in there to loosen it up...if that dont work then you might try to go in through the back door! i have to do that w/mine

your welcome!...and i have yet to get mine open through th back door...no time yet but hopfully soon.
