Your jeep looks awesome man...perfect height, perfect wheels, perfect tires. I want to run the same tire and wheel combo you have.

The Rancho 2.5 lift kit you have is around a thousand bucks I think plus you have a ton of other mods. I don't really need anything that fancy yet.

I have an 04 Rubicon automatic bone stock that I drive to work everyday and out in the woods during the summer some.

My Rubicon does fine where I go...I am about to replace my 1st set of tires on it and I want to beef it up without causing major drive train issues and breaking the bank.

...and now for the questions!

Will any of the 2.5" or 3" lifts work for what I am wanting to do? I see some 4" lifts that recommend 33's

What parts are the deal makers for the 34's you have stuffed under there?

more questions to come...

thank you.. the 2.5 and 3" lifts will do the trick.
If I remember right, the 2.5" hd competition crawler Rancho kit was 1,030 bucks from robs off road at the time I purchased it, that included the shocks w/brake lines, Pittman arm, rear track bar bracket, and a adjustable front track bar(which got bent beyond repair while jumping stumps.)

all the rest, with the exception of the nth stinger I practically stole off of e-bay! o' yeah and the nth degree solid adjustable track bar w/frame brace was like 250 directly from nth. I'm planning on getting the nth tummy tucker installed shortly and 5.38 gears this summer.

the 4" does allow for more up travel which is handy if your doing high speed whoops or something of that nature, and is recommended for the look and no chance of rubbing while fully articulated, some people are just whiners..LOL.  I simply lengthen the bump stops to what it needs to keep the tires from rubbing the fenders, using the 5" backspaced Rubicon moab wheels there's no flare rubbing either. for a 10" wide wheel they rub the flare, this hurts nothing and doesn't pin the tire,

check out scramln's TJ with the 35's and 3" lift..s

Thanks For the Comment, My main goal is a hunting vehicle. I drive it everyday, and want to keep it low. When I was stuck in the snow on my frame, and everyone on 35's was driving by, I knew I needed more frame height. Therefore I tried the 35's. With the right combo of backspacing & flare width, it works fine with no rub, unless I really flex. On the road, I have no issues. As I get more into crawling, I will probable opt for some tube fenders for the extra flex.

Thanks agian, and post your Jeep.

cool....but the pic came from my camera wherever you found it! I removed the logo so I could post it in various places. O' last year I did post it on the jp site back in july or something like that with the logo still on it. I have tons of pics of that particular truck, I drove it for about 4 years, its my favorite out of all the rigs I've ever been in.

550 cat, 13spd, 3.55 gears, cottrel 4509e-z loader trailer, it weighs in at 44,500# empty.
