Hi ,i am clueless about these things as my query will suggest . i want to know if it is possible to buy a garmin navigation system , that has maps only for holland and the benelux region , and then later buy or borrow maps from other european countries and add them to this system. i want to know if this is possible because when i buy a system with only these 2 maps it is far cheaper than buying one with maps for the whole of europe. thanx in advance muks

Hmm... good question... I'm going to go with 99.9% of the members here are probably in the US so I'm not real sure anybody will be able to answer that.
But, you never know. Good luck!
So it's not a Jeep... sue me... it's still faster!

Yeah you can up load different maps they have all of Europe. Garmin is pretty good about the regions that there maps cover. With Garmin they will send upgrade CDs to you if you register with them. When you by the Garmin from your local dealer it should have the European maps already up loaded on it. I know in the US my Garmin came loaded with all the maps of US and Canada.
