Last May I finished up the install of a 4bt into my 95 wrangler . I just finished a trip from Waldport,OR to Ridgecrest,CA to Oklahoma,OK . Coming over the Siskyous I got about 25 mpg .From Redding to Bakersfield I got 32 mpg .The rest of the trip was at about 28 mpg . The drivetrain is a NV4500 connected to a NP205 . Which turns a Dana 44 with 4:10 gears and a detroit locker sitting on 33 inch tires . Would I do this again , Oh yeah !- its been an adventure . I have a high pinion Dana 60 out of a 1979 Ford F-250 that I need to have narrowed , on the gears I will go with 3:54's to make it a little easier to drive on the interstate . Overall I've been happy with the swap and would do it again in a heart beat . The engine noise is the only thing that is a minus , but I've just gotten used to it . Hey it beats driving some econobox which was my motivation for doing the swap .
