The S.O.A. has put together a 1982 Jeep Scrambler and is raffling tickets for some very lucky person to win it.  All of our proceeds will be split equally between the St. Jude Children's Hospital and the Blueribbon Coalition.

It has been very challenging with our club members spread thru-out the country.  What was to a year long project start to give-away will be closer to 3 years.  It has been fun and ticket sales are starting to increase.

Spread the word, it is for a couple of great charities and you could WIN and awesome Scrambler.

Well first you won't get anywhere by knocking the website...

Second, your best bet would be to write a letter to the editor. Use the Contact Us thing at the bottom here. I make no guarantees about anything, but it's worth a shot.  

Jp Web Editor,  Sorry it was not my intention to knock the site, things just appeared to be moving slow that day.  Seems to moving better and I even got a Reader's Ride setup.

Update:  The SOA `Charity Scrambler' will be at the 4th Annual Louisiana Off-Roaders’ Expo, Hammond, LA April 5th and 6th.  If your in the area make plans to go check it out and purchase tickets for your chance to WIN and help out two great charities.  

Is it to late to buy some tickets?  I have a 82 cj8 that I just completed a frame off rebuild, The two of them would look good setting next to one another in my driveway.  I was planning on giving mine to my son that is in the military stationed in Wa. state. Just as soon let him have his choice.  Let me know if tickets are still available.  Thx. tom
