new to the site, and just getting back into the jeep thing. I have a 82 cj8 that is pretty much stock, w/258/4sp. Last summer started a frame off and will drive it out of the shop this weekend. Also have a 78 cj7 that is fugly, right now. Traded earlier this week a j10 for a 72 cammando w/304/3sp. As you an see I have a great many opportunities to just empty every pocket. My son has a 82 cj7 but he is in the military in Wa. state, so I can spend money long distance. Now that the talk is out of the way, here is my question. I want to put the 304 in the cj8, then put a 4.0 multiport in the cammando as a mild crawler. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thx

To this day I have never seen a police car give anyone a ticket for going 5 mph at 3000-5000 rpms on the trail. Maybe it doesnt go 80 mph. But mine has 334,000 miles and logs 25,000 miles per year.
