my cousin has a 97 tj 4cyl 5spd with a 3" bodylift and 33's.it has stock gearing or did but we have just pulled the third set of spider gears it has eat up in a year and half.one was a factory replacement and two were rustsy off road.it dosent have a locker and dosnt pop or make noises(untill it throws the spiders).i know the first was from dumping the clutch but the three weve replaced were from normal driving.does anyone know what could cause this?i would appreciate any help thanks

Not sure but could it have something to do with the stock gears trying to push 33's?  That's alot of tire for a 4 cyl with stock gearing.  Would stepping up to maybe 4.88's in the diff's help?  It should help you get back to near stock performance.

the carrier may be cracked, or it just sees a little abuse even on the hwy, an lsd carrier is stonger, you can check into a super kit for the 35 or find a d44 from a sahara or sport model. 97-06 will bolt in.
