50 mph whistle

I have a 2001 jeep cherokee sport with a slight whistle from about 50 mph to 60mph. Helpme!!??

might be the simplest thing...roll your window up all the way!...if not then might be door weatherstrips (a small clip that holds the w/strip to the door possibly got pulled out, check all w/strips cause its a common problem w/autos that are older to have the w/strip get pinched over time thus causing a whistling noise...

tube bumpers and roof racks can also whistle that are missing end caps

thats wat i thought at first but it will only happen during acceleration and lastfor about 5 seconds between 50 to 60 mph

Also at the valve cover of my 4.0L i have a slight leak fro the top rear breaher. (i think thats what it is) i have a k&n air kit and its just seeping from around the sensor/breather. what will fix this?

The sensor/breather you are refering to is most likely the PCV valve. If it is leaking oil I would check the gromlet that it pushes into in the valve cover. It would be a good idea to replace the pcv valve also. But look at the gromlet first. ASE Tech.
