by the time that pops up you are already signed...thanks again for your support, again, you do not have to donate. All politicians aint worth a pot of piss, but thats just my view. Why would you spend millions to become president when the salary is like 400,000?That always made me wonder.

I live out here in Nor Cal, and I gladly signed the petition, and I am going to post a link to the petition on my Website at www.norcaloutdoorsupply.com.

We are losing the battle to retain our right to enjoy OUR National Forests. Whether it be in PA, OR, WA, or CA, it almost seems like a lost cause.

The environmental groups fighting against us are paid to spend their time petitioning the law makers in Washington. That's what they do for a living, while those of us who actually use our National Forests for enjoyment are spending all our time and money trying to support a family.

You can't give up hope though, that is what they want us to do. All we can do is continue to lobby our government officials through petitions and hope that they use a little common sense when making decisions on land use.

One other important thing that we could all be doing is stepping up to the plate when we see Yahoos out doing the things that are fueling the environmental group's cases against us. It's tough to do, I know, but every time some yuppie sees some "Red Neck" out spinning donuts in a field or on the beach, the first thing they do is file a complaint with the local authorities. They attend public meetings in their communities and they tell their stories to the Supervisors and Board Members. The Supervisors and Board Members have no choice but to listen to the "Squeaky Wheel".

I have witnessed this scenario here in Northern California, and it is really frustrating to attend these meetings and listen to the whacked out stories and complaints that these people are making on "Public Record".

So, I know I have gotten a little carried away with this reply, but I think it is important that we take action to help ourselves retain our right to use and enjoy our Public Lands. Educate the people you see about what's at stake. Don't be afraid to tell someone who is acting irresponsibly about what damage they may be creating. Not just to the environment, but to all of us, in the form of having us banned from our sport because of a few individuals who don't know or care.

Anyway, good luck with the petition. I hope that in the end you'll get a few acres of our public lands designated for Off Road Use.

Up date.. We are at 184 now, with plans of involving our state rep at 300. We have several other local clubs helping us on this now, so things are looking up. My only worry is I might not have the money for gas by the time we get a trail...Thanks to all who signed.

I don't mean to keep beating this horse, But we need a little more help from the off road community. Anyone who hasn't signed, you would be greatly appreciated. We have 259 signatures right now. The more support we get, the better our chances are.

Rocks-n-Roost Off Road club has started a petition for new and reopening of existing trails. Western Pa. has tons of woods with no legal trail for us to wheel on. We are hoping to change this. Please show your support for our sport by signing. The land in question is in Allegheny National Forest. So as long as you live in the U.S. your signature counts. It's your forest too. Any help is greatly appreciated. After entering your name & Email hit the sign petition button. You are now saved. The donation window that comes up next is totally optional. Thanks Again

This is an old topic, but I run A Loaded for safari land rover, and on our site we have 17,893 members world wide, now I posted up a link to the petition that was started and asked my fellow rover runners to help out and sign.. There are a lot of places to go with our riggs in other states, but we don't live there now do we.. So i may not drive a jeep, had one, but none the less I still feel if you wheel, in whatever as long as you enjoy with the Tread Lightly thought in mind then Lets Ride....

Hope this helps out for all of us... Anybody local in Pittsburgh/Murrysville area on here??
