Hey got a question...I have a 97 tj with a 4'' susp lift.  Could I put a 2 inch coil spacer in the front and a 1.75 inch coil spacer in the rear.  And what would I have to change...Prob shocks, sway bar?  i have a winch in the front so it sags alittle so i was wanting to level up the jeep and gain some tire room...

there is a couple things involved here that you have to think about. your track bar in the front and rear needs to be relocated. your anti sway bar needs longer links. your shocks need to be longer. and your brake lines need to be longer or the bracket where the hard line meets the rubber line needs to be moved lower. but there is no problem with putting diff size coil spacers in. there are some adjustable ones out there that are pucks on big screws that allow you to level your ride out. i had a 3.5 inch lift on my 94 zj and had the same uneven problem. i bought a kit that came with two new springs for the front and four 1 inch spacers. i took the higher rated taller springs out of the front and put them in the rear. then put the new springs in the front with one 1 inch spacer on each side. and it now sits level with a 4.5 inch lift. this is b4 the lift level.

will work for jeep parts!

already having a four inch you probably have an adjustable track bar, and definately have relocated the brake lines, the sway bar links for the four inch also work on a six inch. the 4" shocks are also long enough, you're not changing the amount of downtravel you have by adding spacers.

the spacers will do the trick there, you'll need to make a slight adjustment to the front track bar. if you don't have a SYE and a cv driveshaft you'll be picking up a nasty vibration.

the best route...just use spacers in the front to level your rig out rather than lift the whole thing more,

Nut & Mud nailed it. I too suggest just leveling the front. If you lift it more you'll have all the headaches that these guys listed and to me at least it wouldn't be worth the extra hight just for the sake of having it.

So it's not a Jeep... sue me... it's still faster!
