In this months issue [April 2008]; Page 106 has pics of the Editors... Christian is displaying his Desert Eagle and Smith 44...with his fingers on both the triggers! Yeah, I know the Eagle has the chamber open...but unless the cylinder is out of the Smith you are assuming it is unloaded... And assuming with weapons usually gets someone dead.
GET YOUR FINGERS OFF THE TRIGGERS CHRISTIAN! What are you thinking?... Esp. in a natl. magazine?

Yes, the Smith is empty.  A split second before taking that photo I opened the cylinder, checked it, and then snapped it closed. However, the Desert Eagle isn't mine and I'm not that comfortable with it, so I left the slide open.

Fingers on trigger to make it look like I'm about to blast away.  There's supposed to be a hord of ravenous zombies approaching.  Any other time my index finger is extended on the side of the firearm frame until AFTER I've sighted my target and am ready to fire.  I even do this when holding a plastic toy gun.  It's just habit.

I agree - safety first, but come on dude. Give me a little credit.  

I never paid any attention to it. Im sure one could find a problem with almost every pic in the mag. Common sense goes along way!  

Guns & jeeps  go good together. Almost as good as naked women & jeeps.  If memory serves me & it almost never does, Christian is from Maine. So I'm sure he has seen a hunting trip on T.V. once or twice.LOL I know several people from the far north east and they all know their way around a firearm(safety first). The guys at JP use weapons often in the magazine. So ya a little credit for firearms safety.
Keep up the good work & keep squeezing them off.

come on over to my place I've got a 7 year old that would be happy to teach you all about common sense and gun saftey....just don't challenge him to a air soft war...you'll loose.  

don't worry about it christian....homeblt is probably worried that some limp wristed liberal will actually pick up this magazine, let alone page thru it. brings to mind a sticker i saw once....wanna piss off a liberal? exercise the 2nd ammendment and buy a gun. wanna scare a liberal? know how to hit your target. I'm just getting a little fed up with the overly political correct climate of society.

Don't put your seatbelt on in a sitcom and get sued.

Since when did gun safety equate to liberalism? ...I've been a 'collector' for 30 years...I'm no liberal. I get it...it was a pose...I knew that before posting.

But I'll stand by my point...and my opinion will never kill me, or anyone else.  

I've got no problem with you having your opinion.  There's a lot of great kids overseas right now ensuring that very liberty, so I welcome your comments.
