In this months issue of JP mag was a cj 7 with this spring setup on the rear. I can tell a lil from the pic but not enough. Whats the scoop on it? good, bad, etc. How does it work?
thanks

The quarter ecleptic( sorry on spelling) suspension is really cool. Not the dead perfect set up but cool and a whole lotta flex. I have never got to experiance it yet but it seems to give off a ton of flex so it might be the ticket.

Well I was wondering. I was on BTF looking around for some 4 link stuff and saw something about them but it didn't have any info. Then I saw this in JP and really made me wonder.
Are the springs turned upside down or are they half a spring pack or what?

yes it is half of a spring pack upside down. it rides against the frame until you flex it out. its out there but not many people have picked up on it. it allows your axle to drop way way out. i have never done much research on the system or have known anyone with it. so i dont know how well it works. you would think if it was the cats ass it would of become more popular. or maybe its the best kept secret. its just cool to see people doing different things rather than your cookie cutter bolt on tj. no offense to tj owners cause i love all jeeps. but its nice to see someone going outside the box. its how the sport has advanced how it has.

This set up acctually hase a roller on the axle and the quarter leaf spring rides on the roller and can disconnect from the axle at full flex.
