I'm sorry that I can't help at all but if this is successful PLEASE let me know how the process goes. I have an 87 YJ with the BA10 and I would love to find a cheap way to replace it. Good Luck

I checked on one for a project I am working on. It was at a local parts house. He showed only one for my application. 258 6cyl. I found my auto for 200. Only 10,000 miles out of a Sahara. The flex plate was 80 bucks.
If you need the part number, I can get it for you.

I have a 89. The project is a 77 258. I have a couple of flatties,cj-5 and a 7. I'm not sure which one I will be using the motor for. I had a guy give me a 76 F 150 with a 44 front, 9" rear, 435 tranny. Im not sure what t case it is. Its free so I'm not complaining.
Back to your question...
These parts are from Carquest:
#FRA 108 T/F 999 80-86
#FRA 118 T/F 727 80-86
#FRA 410 Only shows one flexplate for 87-90
#FRA 480 Only shows one flexplate for 91-95
Prolly will have to get a f'plate for the yr tranny. The block should be the same. Like me, I have a old block with a 95 tranny.
Hope this helps.

I'm not sure about which one to match it up with. This is my first 5 speed to auto swap. You would think that you would match the flexplate to the motor, but the blocks should be the same from 70's to the 90's. I'm going to do some more research. Keep me posted on what flexplate you use and how you matched it up. As far as JP, they'll chime in sooner or later.
