Hi guys, I'm doing a small lift/highline body kit to fit 35's and keep my cog low. I have an 01 TJ and will soon purchace a RE 2" spacer kit with the monotube shocks. I want to upgrade the springs too but not sure what size to buy. My question is about RE 3.5 coil springs. Are they too big for a 2" spacer kit? I can't find any springs for a 2" kit anywhere. What's everyone's recommendation?

Also fellas, if i get standard fixed upper and lower controll arms for the rear that comes from a 4" kit, will that give the angle I need for the rear axle on a RE 2" lift? Trying to say the doe from those adjustables.

Pro-comp sells a 2" springs kit. Another option would be to get a stock set of springs from a Rubicon will give you a little lift. With that small amout of lift, I wouldn't think you would have problems with vibes so you may not need the adjustable control arms.

also skyjacker, rancho, old man emu, theres a bunch of em that have 2" springs, generally the fixed upper and lower arms for a 4" are the same length as stock arms just a lot stronger. with a 2" the vib can be corrected with cam washers on the upper control arm ends at the differential bolts, if it has any. the re coils wil work with 2" spacers that'll be a 5.5" lift. If your not gonna be towing or packing a bunch of wieght the 2" spacer kit will be a great way to go, coils are still the best, heres a link to a wrangler with a spacer lift, the captions point out a few things hope it helps...........
