Moab Wheels with larger than stock tires

I am currently building up '04 Rubicon #2. My last was stolen unfortunatly. I have decided to keep the Moab wheels on this one since they actually look decent under the black body. My question is:

Does anyone have or know of any problems with keeping the stock 16x8 Moab wheels and moving up to a 33" or 34" tire? Tire width from 10.5" to possibly 12.5".

I am installing a 3.5" Rubicon Express short arm super-flex kit, and don't plan on doing much rock crawling in this daily driver, but would like a larger tire build up anyways. I have read posts where tire rubbing was an issue but they did not list tire width.

the wheels should handle up to a 35" tire w/ no prob, i'd put the tires on and check for rubbing, then get some 1" wheel spacers if needed

the 33, 34, and 35's will fit up to a 12.5. the 315x70-16 (35x12.5-16) has barely a 1/2 inch between the sidewall and the upper spring pad in the rear, up front theres no problem at all. I can post a pic later of my 34x12.5-16 trXus mounted on moabs. I didn't happen to have any in my file. I was a brave one and wore out a set of Maxxis buckshots out, never had a problem, it always bothered me though. (315's), welcome to the board
