would have posted them earlier, I had to be in Anaheim, ca to grab a rig headed for SanAntonio,TX from Currie Enterprises by 10pm, I was in a hurry, then I-5 south was closed so I had to go around on the 405.

What kind of plans do you have for it?

I've been planning on a set of AEV's Highline fenders and a new set of 37" TrXus m/t's for my Rubicon.

Dude! Mud! You were here in Anaheim yesterday? We have an office just down the street form Currie, and if you would have taken the 5 south you would have passed right by me and our Jp Magazine.com World Headquarters in Irvine. Let me know when you're going to be down here next time and not on such a tight schedule, we'll do lunch!

So it's not a Jeep... sue me... it's still faster!

Awesome Jeep Schwartzenberger! I love love love Jeeps that are not lifted to the sky just to fit 35's. Yours looks awesome!

(don't get me wrong, I love lifted Jeeps, but there is just something about a 'stock' Jeep with 35's... beautiful)

wow, thanks guys. i love the low cg aspect, and to finish will put a sye and fab a two piece crossmember/skid plate to flatten the belly. thats probably the worst drawback, especially when cresting sharp breaks or lone rocks like in the first photo, also plan to put 2" springs for more spring rate, and gain some more clearance in the belly.running about 10 psi in the photos, have experimented a little and find 6-8 works the best for me...thanks again for posting the pics mud

it was stock when i got it, traded the fenders/hood to pat h. for a competition hood he had, initially i thought it would be too narrow but it turned out cool and good for extreme undercuts etc. i had the cool old school wheels and used some 1.25 a-dapters to get the 5 on 5.5...looks more finished now, i have center caps in 'em, oh and i replaced all for rear links w/ jks pieces to extend the w/b .75", as i'm finding out everything to do w/ a jeep...a little change makes a big diff, im just waiting to truss the d35 as an excuse to go bigger of course

i was turned on to the highline fenders too, but in the "end" went w/the fibreglass hood/fender thingy because of cost/time thingy. the aev fenders i think would be the cats meow

I mainly like the stock look and the rear matching cutout flares, the price seems a little steep, it's probably about the same cost as factory replacement fenders and a hood? I haven't looked into that, one of these times of floppin her on her side I won't be so lucky. I did mess up the front bumper and fender during thanksgiving week dragging it up hill on its side with the winch.
glad to see the avatar worked. I thought that was the best one.

Cool pics. Great looking Jeep. Love the look of the fenders and hood. Where were the pics taken? Wish we had places close by like that. Get tired of mud and woods all the time.

thanks, the fenders are finished now, had to cut the flare at the hoodline, and make some fill-ins. the pics are of the north dakota badlands, some private land the local club has access to.

yep, that's where i got the idea and used some jks arms in the rear, it works great, i want for lower gears than 4.88 w/ the 35's and 5-spd, need to jam the brake pedal hard for the tech. stuff. d30 lock-rite frt w/ full circ clips on stock axles,$500 new ebay super 35 kit w/gears! and all work done by me,except the rockers, helgeson made those, and gave some excellent advise.

Way cool! We ended up swapping in some junkyard Dana 44s. The front from a later model waggy, the rear from an Isuzu Amigo. Went with 5.89 gears cause of the four-cylinder. Both the front and rear axle stories are online in the tech section. But it's still kind of a pricy way to go. Sounds like you built a pretty solid rig for cheap! That's the best. Gotta love a sleeper.
