O.k. I know alot of you have done some sort of front axle conversion.
so here I am building a 1967 Dana 44 front axle out of a bronco that I got real cheap. and I know this is not a ford site but I plan on putting it under my 1997 explorer.
so here is the question. on the newr jeeps they has abs. if you have done an axle swap on your front end what do you do for the abs system? did you just ditch it and run without abs?
I know on the trail it sucks to have abs kicking in when your trying to hold the line on a down grade. but for street it is nice to have.
anyone run into this any have any solutions that might work for me as well?
any help is appericated thanks Geaorge aka lounge lizard

yea! alot of people do that but I would like to keep the abs brakes since I will be driving it on the street. and I have a yearly inspection so I don't want them to use that as a reason to not inspect it. I will have enough just getting it through with the conversion.
