shouldn't have waited so long to get that tummy tucker, the missing piece under my Rubicon, I hope that I'll still be able to get it soon.
Nth degree's Inventory has apparently been taken over by American Expedition
Vehicles conversions, another innovator of the jeep aftermarket.
I'd like to hear more info about the nth degree take over.
I really hope that AEV keeps the FAQ's page available for people to read, It was the most informative I could find.

I got the nth front dana 44 slider off E-bay from some dude in San Diego, by the way I told you I would scrape the paint off. thanks again Ken (Rouge1313)
The rear nth slider came from Portland Craig's List in sandy,or. he took it off of his tomb raider edition before selling it.
Nth Oil Pan Skid from an on line Ebay store.
Both the rear Stinger and Front solid Track Bar I ended up getting direct from Nth Degree Mobility.
HD 2.5" Ranch competition crawler lift came from Rob's Off Road in Clackamas, Or.
It took a while to collect but I saved a bunch of dough.

American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) to Pick Up Significant Amount of Product Line from Recently Closed Nth Degree Mobility

Missoula, Montana, Sept. 19, 2007 - Missoula-based American Expedition Vehicles (AEV), long a favorite supplier of aftermarket parts to the Jeep off-road community, will soon be adding the highly-regarded Nth Degree Mobility suspension lift kits to its expanding product line.

Off-road enthusiasts have bemoaned the recent closing of Nevada-based Nth Degree Mobility, provider of innovative and expertly engineered long-arm and short-arm suspension lift kits, among other products. Now AEV announces it will pick up a “significant” portion of Nth Degree’s inventory and product line, with plans to continue manufacturing and distributing those products “in the near future.”

AEV asks for patience as it moves over inventory and equipment, but promises the same commitment to quality and innovation that Nicole and Jim Frens provided Nth Degree Mobility customers for years.

“It’s really unfortunate that Nth Degree had to close its doors. Nth Degree has been a major innovator in the suspension industry and has developed a near cult following with good reason,” said Dave Harriton, President of AEV. “Because this has happened so quickly, we are still trying to determine how long it will take for us to incorporate their products into our system. It is our goal, however, to have most of the existing suspension line back on the market along with several new products in the near future.”

“Most of the line will remain unchanged, although we will be simplifying and redesigning some of the existing components to make it easier for our dealer network to stock and for our users to install,” Harriton said.

AEV itself has been an Nth Degree customer, employing its suspension and skidplate products on AEV conversion vehicles. AEV will integrate Nth Degree’s design, engineering, and development operations into AEV’s Missoula, Montana facility while warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing will be moved into AEV’s Walled Lake, Michigan plant. Watch for further announcements on plans for former Nth Degree products at www.aev-conversions.com.

Regarded as the premier innovator in the Jeep aftermarket, as well as the only supplier of fully-validated, all-steel stamped parts and accessories for Jeeps, AEV continues a rapid expansion of its offerings to the dedicated Jeep community.

In the past year, the company has brought forth a number of products for the popular new Jeep Wrangler (JK), including a stamped front bumper, hood, corner guards, wheels, and skid plates, among others. The company’s fully-integrated “Brute” conversion kit has electrified the off-road community, providing all parts needed to convert a TJ Wrangler into a custom AEV Brute pickup.

Several AEV vehicles will be featured at the 2007 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas, Oct. 30 - Nov.2, including a fully-equipped AEV 4-Door Wrangler (JK) with a custom Kicker Audio sound system; a four door Wrangler Unlimited with a 525HP 6.4L HEMI will also be featured.

Great news… I was very dissapointed to see Nth Degree’s doors closed, but am very pleased to see the products will continue with American Expedition Vehicles.

Best of luck on the transition period - hope it goes smoothly and quickly.

Excellent. I hope to be one of the first satisfied customers to receive my JK with a Hemi and Nth Degree styled lift kit. Please reserve one for me.

What suspension are you running? How much lift? Do you have the Nth track bar setup front and rear?

Hey mudb8,
Are you also running a drop pitman and how is your steering? Tight? Bumpsteer? Death wobble? I've been trying to do just what you've done for a year. I bought control arms, rear spring re-locators, redrilled the rear lower control arm mounts, all from Nth Degree. When I went back to get the stinger, rear track bar tower and front track bar like yours they said it would be a few weeks before they could get the parts. We know the end of that story. AEV told me on 5/9/08 they could get the parts on June 3. Hmm.

Anyway, here's where I'm at:

JKS ACOS - have
JKS Quicker Disconnects - have
JKS budget motor mount lift - have
OME 2" springs front and rear - have
OME Nitro shocks - have
Nth rear spring re-locators - have
Currie 1" body lift - have
AA SYE - have
Tom Woods rear shaft - have
Nth stock length LCUs - have
Nth 44  dif slider - N E E D
Nth stinger - N E E D
Nth rear track bar tower - N E E D
Nth solid adjustable front track bar - N E E D

This would finish my estimated 3.5" lift!!

I was using M.O.R.E bomb proof 1" motor mounts, but removed them in favor of the original motor mounts with the JKS spacers. Back to glass smooth idle. I'd rather put new motor mounts on evry 50k and enjoy the smoooooth. After all that's why I'm so interested in Nth stuff. Because this is a pretty expensive short lift. But will be accurate and smooooth.

Anyone want the M.O.R.E mounts - 20 bucks plus shipping??

yep, the pitman is neccesary on the tj even for 2"

I have no hint of bumpsteer, or death wobble
the steering is great, although I also have a rusty's wheel to wheel tie rod...the stock one got bent beyond repair.

on the death wobble... you may need to adjust the caster...I did have a problem with the maxxis 315x70-16's that I wore out if they were low on air presure. The trXus go down the road 70mph with only 8psi and no wobble.

june huh, well I'll be waiting!
you'll have a awesome set up there when you get er done.

I got my nth sliders from craigs list and e-bay for about half the cost

I've been concerned about changing my steering from "Y" to cross-over. For some reason I am under the assumption the "Y" hinges just like the track bar. Meaning the "Y" is in the same place as where the track bar mounts to the axle. I also am under the assumption that the drag link should not only be parallel but also equal length??? I am considering the Currie HD steering stuff because it is still "Y".

the haltenberger linkage doesn't offer any better steering than the wheel to wheel in my experience, and the main drag is longer than the wheel to wheel rod,

I had the same skepticism until I put one on
I really like it better myself after having driven it

What are you going to do about the broken track bar bracket? I almost bought the JKS extension a couple months back, becuse I can't get the Nth, but then I reconsidered remembering the stuff I read on the Nth site about the extensions just breaking off the stock bracket. I'm running stock now, and with only 2 inches of lift, a rotated housing because of the SYE, the bushing in the track bar is giving up (clunk clunk).

yep the extension is the culptit there. a specifically bent adjustable rear stuck in the stock mount without an extension would be best...

I made a new one.... I welded it on at an angle so the bound up track bar problem was eliminated.

Hey Mud,

What did you do to your front Nth trac bar frame mount to get it to clear the diff? And what did you do about the shackle mount for the stinger since you don't have an Nth TT. Also how do you like the stinger on the pavement and does it give more articulation as claimed?

I originally cut the belly and welded a tube to the tin plate as you can see in the pics, that lasted for a couple years of banging around and finally ripped off, I then used a piece of flat iron and welded it to the bottom of the skid plate....on the trackbar mount I just bent it in a little and the required bump stops for the 34's under the 2" lift took care of that, at first though the locker idiot light wiring got smashed before I got around to solving the problem, It never did rub unless it took a good pothole. I don't seem to have any pics of the rub...I'll get some later tomorrow

the stinger is awesome on the hwy, my wife thinks it handles better, it takes some adjustment to keep the thing from raising the tail on acceleration..no more squatin at all..the articulation is amazing, even with the rear sway bar hooked up, the shock length is the limiting factor there.
