i have a 7.3Ltr ford powerstroke turbo diesel at my disposal and not many people out here in australia have done engine swaps in jeep wranglers so i wanted to ask if anyone knows if its even remotely possible , now my wrangler already has 35 spline dana 60's front and back with long arms 7" lift and 37's . thinking about going with an auto behind the 7.3 , which is the shortest box and transfer case combination ? any help would be great . thanks

I think the weight of that motor will make the wrangler do nose wheelies everytime you stop but if you do it send us pictures

more so than the shortest, you should worry about which will stand up to the powerstroke. you may be better off with a manual or make the ford unit work.
what do the powerstrokes weigh anyhow, 1200? or more?
I haven't messed with the ford or dodge as far as diesel power goes for a jeep, but have put a gm 6.5 with a banks sidewinder in a cj with a beefed up 700 and 208 t-case.

Do you have any pictures of the 6.5 in a cj ? That had to be one fun package
