At the end of his article in the Oct 07 issue, Pete Trasborg's picture taken at JB Conversions appears to be a 1958-1959 Willy's Station Wagon, with a 1999-2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ dash along with a Tuffy's Security Console.
Station wagon and not a truck or panel wagon because of the glass window behind the drivers door.
99-02 TJ Wrangler dash because of the 3 knob HVAC system instead of the earlier sliding HVAC controls and 99-02 because gray interior was light gray until 2003 when interior became dark gray/black.
Tuffy's Speaker and Stereo Security Console for a 97-06 Jeep Wrangler due distinct cushion, lock and key position, and to length and not width stereo compartment.
That just a guess.
