How about a headlight shootout including composite/replaceable elements (some of us wheel at night), or wiper upgrades (some of us wheel in the mud), or off the shelf (parts house) alternator upgrade (for winches and headlight upgrades), or rear main seal replacement on the 4.0 ( I have one of these, doesn't everyone?), or basic maintenance ( everyone does this...right?). I have more but that ought to keep you busy for a little while!

I would like to see a suspension story. I would like to build my own long arm system per say but I don't have any kind of detailed or basic drawings to go off of. There are a lot of different things out there to lift the jeeps but what works the best where and what have you tried?

So it's not a Jeep... sue me... it's still faster!

I would like to see a story on how to safely retension winch cable, maybe include a review of the winch lobster that was advertised in the current issue?

Id love to see a long arm comparison using some of the new lifts out like Nth degree mobility or the Teraflex LCG long arm kit. Maybe a few less tire shoot outs cause its not working, people are still buying thornbirds. Show off more of the cappa compound. Cribs aint got shat on that

how strong are those rear upper A arm systems, what would it take to bend it or knock the alignment out, how long do the bushings last, are they really safe for every day use?
These tires were made for muddin and they're gonna throw mud all over you.

Hemi in a JK? It's neat, and been done...but how many people are really interested in doing this swap themselves? Thus far I think it's mostly shops that are doing the swap. Jp is more of a do-it-yourself magazine. But I'll look into it.
On a side note, I recently drove a 6.1L Hemi-powered 4-door. It was kind of a turd. Not all that fast and in my mind not worth the cost of the swap, at least with the auto tranny it had. Seemed to me that's where all the power was lost. Perhaps it wasn't set up right. It was also really loud inside. A cross country drive would suck. I'd like to see someone make the 5.7L swap with a manual. Maybe that's what we need to do.

I think you need to finish project Juggy and save the hemi for later.

I'd like to see super low tech simple storys..easy one or two page type stuff. Its good to have both ends of the spectrum meaning high end that everyone dreams about, and then low end reality. super cheap 300 buck or less low tech type articles using junkyard/craiglist parts that novices could do with little to no fab work. For example:you got 3:07s in your rears and want larger tires but cant afford to re-gear and dont want to 8.8 it,,,find 4:10 axles from a 4 banger and direct swap it...show how and problems.,,rebuilding the vacumn motor system, stuck with your amc 20 or dana 35,,how about a simple weld on over the top axle truss,,and how to weld in the axle tubes better,,,re-arching your leafs yourself w. junkyard leafs because you cant afford new springs,,cheapo stuff,,you guys must need filler articles and these would help readers too(like randys articles but not just electrical),,,,also,,can you please get randy to change his mag photo,,,his expression makes him looks like the guy in the zodiac movie but 10 years younger

ive seen the headlight shoot out, ive seen the swingarm shootout, ive seen the tire shoot out. but how bout a chip and or programmer shoot out. jet, hypertech, edge trailjammer, unichip. we have all heard ya you can really feel the difference, but that isnt enought, how bout dyno testing before and after hp/torque gains, milage improvements. testing them without other power gaining mods, and also with other mods like exhaust and air filter. also test if a chip could be stacked with a plug and play or just a regular programmer such as a jet chip with a unichip plug and play or a edge and a unichip plug and play.
