Rejuvinating an old lift

I just bought an 89 4cyl Wrangler.  It came with a 3" lift and 31" inch tires.  I want to install 33s.  I had a few questions and I was hoping you guys could help me out:

* Due to the age of the lift, it's settled a little bit.  I was thinking to replace the springs and shocks in order to bring it back up to its original height.  Are there any other components I should replace?  Considering that a number of the components are severly rusted, might it be better (IE, more cost effective) to put down $500 on a new 4" lift rather then trying to restore the original 3" lift?

* If I were to keep the 3" lift, I would prefer not to do an additional 1" body lift in order to fit the 33s.  Does anyone have any experiance with 33"x10.5" tires on a 3" lift?

* If I were to replace only the springs and shocks, does anyone know where I could find them, easily, outside of kit form?

I really appreciate it.  Thanks.

You can usually order springs and bushings separate. But, you'll likely want new U-bolts anyway. You are essentially buying a whole lift kit minus the optional parts (brake lines and pitman arm).
