why not? it is one of the most-asked questions that "newbs" ask, unless you are a Ham Radio guy, trucker or general redneck, CB stuff my not be the average guy's cup-o-tea.

It may very well be one of the overlooked additions to our rigs. What's legal?  Where to mount it? What KIND of CB? (remote mount or standard) What brand? (midland, galaxy, maxon, etc...) Antanna size or construction? (3' fiberglass, 4' fiberglass top-loaded, 5' steel whip, 7' "redneck special" whip) What is SWR? There are a number of purpose-built antenna mounts for most Jeeps (JK included). There are also many "custom" jobs that got great results.... or the old-fashioned Ball Mount.

Comparing options that CJ/YJ/TJ owners have to what the XJ/ZJ owners face... and ofcourse older models.... and the new JK. If you look at it in that perspective it could certainly be longer than a 1 or 2 page load of b.s.

I cant recall anything in recent history on the topic.... another axle swap article. many dont have the dough to slide D60 axles under their TJ... but nearly everyone can afford a CB. Once installed, it is often forgotten about until it fails to work.

check with one of your nearby Ham guys... one of em oughtta have a good MFJ antenna anylizer and/or SWR-power meter you guys could use.
